gotta getcha one
« on: January 17, 2012, 05:35:58 pm »
I didn't think I would like it, actually I thought I would be scare to use it.  My husbands Mom sent us one.  I put a 4.5 lb frozen chicken in it, smells yummy.  Waiting for the cool down.  Just a few more minutes, then I can open it up.  30 minutes from start to finish.  Hold on I will let you know how it turned out.  While waiting I will tell you it's a Bistro recommended by Wolfgang Puck.  The color is red and silver.  It size is 7 quart.  I am thinking this would have been great to have when my kids were home.  Other than the cheaply made instruction/recipe book that came with it,  I think I am liking it.  The chicken smells wonderful.  Just another minute for the cool down and........wahla.  It tastes great.  I am going to get good with this.

Keep me up to date as you experiment. I would like to know how it does with a ham, chicken *bleep* and cube steak(possibly)

I sure will, I cooked pork roast and carrots, celery, potatoes and an apple. waiting for it to cook down again.  It smells great.  I will be cooking ham and beans in it soon.

I think this one cost my mother in law 109.00.  It's a pressure cooker.  Like it much better than a slow cooker,  you can cook whole meals in it.
