Does anyone have flat feet or fallen arches?
« on: January 16, 2012, 12:26:57 pm »
I'll never know what it is to have arches I my feet, but I do standing exercises to help my feet. For years fallen arches has challenged me to keep my calves circulating with blood and this has helped . What endurance feet exercises do you practice for your flat feet?

I have flat feet, and I have to wear good shoes with arches for them - or at least, I'm supposed to.

I have flat feet too. I don't do any special exercises or anything though. I don't have any special shoe inserts either. I don't really know what it feels like to have my feet 'in proper alignment'. I walk bare foot a lot now days though, it's supposed to be good for the muscles in your feet/ankles.

I usually wear Nike or New Balance shoes because my feet are either flat or have fallen arches- I'm not sure which. I don't really do exercises because I didn't know there were any for this problem. Should have known- there's a solution for everything these days!

You can find me on Youtube!

my fallen arches are also complicated with bowed shin bones which stress my ankles out tremendously. Therefore, to keep the blood circulating I have to stand on my feet as much as possible to keep my lower legs and feet muscles ready, steady, and alert for when I need to walk and work  .

I don't, but my hubby does.  I find it to be quite strange, but I suppose it suits him okay.  Kinda reminds me of the Flintstones.  ;)

Have partially fallen arches and severe pronated feet.  Was fitted for orthodics, but they don't help the pronation much.

NCR is supposed to help the entire structure all the way down.  We'll see how that goes, as the first session is in 5 more days.

In Zach's Words by Northwest Neuro-Cranial Medicine:

Quote
As an eight year veteran of the USA Cycling Team and two-time World Championship Medalist, I continually battled with various leg, back, and neck pains. Chronic bronchitis and pronated foot issues forced me to seek alternatives to standard physical therapies and food supplements.

After discovering NCR, my ability to stay healthy, recover quickly and train longer was significantly enhanced. Discovering NCR has changed my life completely and I feel like my ultimate goals are more achievable than ever before! I highly recommend this treatment for athletes, especially those at the highest level of competition.

I have had problems with my feet since I was a little girl.  I have had flat feet since I was a little girl and they hurt me now.  I also was pigion toed and had to wear a brace between my legs when I was little.  I think my flat feet affect my back now, because my back always hurts even before I hurt my back working.
