I heard on the news this morning something that has kept me angry all day.  In a speech yesterday by Mitt Romney he stated that America is free and Prosperous.  He is a rich politician and not like me.   I lost my job in April of last year and have been looking for one ever since.  My husband has been on his job for a year but has no benefits yet.  So tell me how we are prosperous.  We live paycheck to paycheck with no medical.  I have severe Asthma and I pray everyday that I wont have an attack that will put me in the hospital.  Because we have no money or insurance.  So tell me where the prosperity is for the low income and middle class people who vote.   :BangHead:

We are a prosperous nation and the idea is to protect everyone's right to pursue that prosperity.  It is unfortunate that you are sick and jobless, but that can change.  If you want a future that is secure and controlled, you are going to have trouble getting that in a free and prosperous society.  Good luck and I hope things turn around for you.

Personally I think Romney's policies suck anyways. So far all he has done to prove that he would make a good leader is to bash the other candidates. This is why I am voting for Rick Santorum. He may not have all the greatest ideals but he seems to have a lot more than the rest of our options. This guy has some real common sense and he doesn't beat around the bush about. He is for creating a more prosperous environment, but not the kind everyone else is selling, the good kind.
hope things improve for you.

I beg to differ. He's a naive *bleep* with pompous out-of-style ideas. One who lacks the skills to critically think shouldn't be up on stage trying to gain any sort of leadership of a country. Even his extended family do not like his ideals. Do me a favor and look up "Santorum" on google to see how much people like him.
