I was married for 25 years and I'm still friends with my ex-husband.  He was great because he taught me to appreciate and respect men.

About 6 months.  I suppose that I cannot deny the reasons as being primarily because of me.  What can I say, I am not a romantic, I am not very emotional, I don't really need anything from anyone, I don't want to know everything about someone and I don't want a woman to know everything about me either.  The fact that I am entirely loyal and hold honor to a higher degree than most makes me a low risk pairing that seems to deny the 'modern' woman of the passion of the drama that she wishes to manifest to entertain herself.  Of course I could also be entirely wrong about the reasons as I suppose it is just as likely that I am a complete *bleep*...

Well I have been married 26 years and we dated for 4 years before that, so I would have to say about 30 years.  Somedays it feels like a life time but most of the time it is great.

Started dating her in mid-1987.  Married in May 1991.  Still married.  So, about 25 and a half years and counting.

I have been married for 35 years and counting.  We dated 4 years prior to the wedding!  Wow...I never really thought about how long we have been together like that before.
