Layer clothing as much as you can with some long johns underneath..socks, gloves or mittens, a hoodie if you have one. Invest in an infrared portable heater in case you ever go thru this again. Sleep in warm clothing with lots of Blankets. Sometimes turning on the oven and leaving it's door open will take the chill off.
Good luck! :D

Someone once said, "teach a man to build a fire and he'll be warm for the night.  Set a man on-fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life."
LOL who the hell said that? :dontknow:

Light up a bunch of candles.  The heat generated will help warm the place up plus make it smell good, too.
Have a wonderful day!

Thin layers and blankets. Warm soup and tea will warm you from the inside out. Keep your head hands and feet warm because you lose the most heat there. And don't forget body heat, cuddle up under the blanket with your significant other or even your pet :) A little chocolate will actually warm you up too, my uncle went to Alaska and they told him to eat chocolate to help stay warm too..good luck keeping warm!

It probably preceded my drill sargent in basic training by many years.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I would get an electric blanket or space heater as a temporary backup when your heater is out. I like the electric blanket because I use it to warm up the bed at night so I don't have the heat on in the bedroom. It saves money and keeps you warm during the night and right when you go to bed.

Clothing can also help. Wear slippers or wool socks around the house because often feet get cold first and make you feel colder,
Take a hot bath or shower when you feel coldest and get dressed right away in warm clothing and cover your hair to hold in the warmth.

Best of luck.

A DAILY VITAMIN MAY EVEN HELP YOU KEEP WARM.  I TAKE A MULTI, THAT IS MINERAL ENHANCED.  THIS HELPS WITH CIRCULATION.  HOPE THIS HELPS.
