Yes I believe in God.
That is an opinion, there is no evidence consisting of valid attributions to support it.
Being a man of logic with little regard for emotional considerations I was left with no other choice based upon my observations, experiences, and reasoning.
How is claiming to be logical while maintaining an illogical 'belief' rational? Are you implicitly suggesting that 'belief' is logical?
Without religion there is no 'good' and all you are left with is "'beneficial to the individual"
Your assumption is invalidated by reason; "good" is possible without religion and "bad" is entirely possible with it. Self-centeredness or selflessness are also possible with or without religion therefore, religion either has less impact than asserted or, religious adherents are hypocrits.
I don't laugh at you 'atheists' , but am instead puzzled by you. You claim to be one thing yet you live like another.
What other thing than claimed? Deciding not to believe in unsubstantiated religious claims and then attending church or, what?
In your world that should be full of unlimited pursuits you choose to live as the most lowly and cowardly bottom-feeder imaginable ...
How would you know what others are pursuing before throwing out childish insults? This is from "a man of logic"? No, it's the lowest form of bottomfeeding argumentation demonstrated thusfar. The gunpowder residue on your shoe is from a self-inflicted wound.
How can you bring up logic and rationality when you do not even to apply it to yourself and you seem entirely oblivious to the obvious omissions you are making?
Wow, the sheer monumental hypocrisy of your false assertion is astounding. Let's turn that back around and inquire as to how you can bring up logic and rationality while claiming a preposterously illogical and irrational 'belief'?
It is pure foolishness -- not that you do believe as I do, but that you believe as you do but live much the same as I do.
Speaking for how I live, no illogical religious beliefs alter how I live. You cannot make the same claim therefore, I do not live much the same as you do. Your unsupported arguments fall to the wayside yet again.
