I remember the first time I heard Madonna’s material girl and Culture Club’s Karma Chameleon.  I thought at the time they were the greatest songs in the world.  Today I still listen to both and they are just as great now as they were back then when they were fresh and new.

Oh yes of course! :D Most of the songs I enjoy listening to are from the 80s and 90s. They never grow old. I even created a playlist of random songs together from various artists accordingly to its theme and mood.

I sure do!! I have a lot on my I-pod along with some newer music. One of my favorite ways to keep up with newer music (besides mtv and the radio) is to listen to music played during movies and then get the artist and song name from the credits. Then I go to i-tunes listen to it again to be sure I like it, and explore that artists other music. what I like, I buy.

Unfortunately Frank Sinatra is dead, but I still hear him on the radio once in a while.

Very rarely. I still have my N*Sync CD from when I was like 7 or 8. I listen to it when I'm in a good mood. I'm not saying I'm rarely ever in a good mood though haha. I also have some Spice Girl songs downloaded to my computer that I listen to from time to time, but once again only when I'm in a good mood.

I like the new music myself but sometimes I just wanna go back and 'remember' an earlier time.  It's funny because I have so many friends that listen to old music they used to like and always respond, 'why in the world did I like that?'  It's why I don't listen to fad music.  I wait for an artist to be around for about 5years before I even take notice.  That way I don't get all caught up in the one hit wonders.  Not that they're a waste to listen to, I just want to listen to someone who knows how to put out hits.

I find that I am now more in love with the songs I heard when growing up.  I adore the 50-70s.  Now I do like some of the newer music out, especially with the use of drum machines and semi disco type themes.  But I do think some of the best have just already been written.  I am greatly impressed and envious of those artist whom are able to continue to make new music.

Yeah I still listen to that stuff, along with a lot of other music that has come out since then. I'm a huge music fan :).

Would you believe I still listen to the 50's music?  A lot of them have such meaningful words its a pleasure to hear them again.
