anyone stop to think about the families that have lost everything due to the economy but then get to watch treasured belongings auctioned off to the highest bidder. why do you think there are so many good things found in the storage units.. alot of families that have had do downsize have had to put thier belongings into storage only to fall behind and not be able to get anything out until they can pay so there goes family belongings. but hell lets prey on everyone in the name of ratings

I have watched the show a few times. It is pretty good. I have never been to a storage auction. Don't have a lot of extra money to spend and would not want to risk buying a locker of junk. I wonder how many lockers they actually buy before
they get one that pays off.

It's pretty entertaining, but the recent "drama" between the characters started to annoy me. I like to watch it for the auctions and items they find.

YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPP!!!! I don't watch it all the time. My mom watches it a lot though. I've only watched it once by myself, every other time I've watched I was watching it because she was.

Storage Wars was an eye-opener for me.  I didn't have a clue what treasures you can get from a person's abandoned storage items.  I wish I had thought of it before it started to become popular.  Maybe I'd be rich today...

I haven't bought at auctions before, but I did go through a bunch of abandoned storage units that we ready for the trash. I found a bit of WWII stuff, which is pretty cool. I don't know if we can post links, but if you google "Trivial Treasure", it's on my antiques and collecting blog.

I don't watch any reality shows- period.  These production companies will put anything on the air, and people being people will watch anything and then call it good.  How can they, when these shows are so moronic and stupid.  Anything goes to make a buck and there are so many willing fools to give it to them by watching these shows.

we really like Storage Wars. I dream of having enough money to go to an auction like that someday. Not necessarily the Storage Wars one but....

I love this show.  They have a good variety of personalities and I think Brandy really brings the show together.  Being the online female she brings a completely different aspect than the rest of them....oh yeah and she's hot.   Never bought one myself but it is something that I have thought about.

WE AS SOCIETY NEED TO STOP EXPLOITING OUR OWN CITIZENS....

I think the same thing. I work flea markets all the time - could have been a gold mine if I had been ahead of the curve. I still wonder what the lockers go for when the cameras are not around.

Awwww, did you lose your Elvis Lamp collection because you couldn't afford the staggering 19.99 monthly fee to store your junk?
