What makes you think they care if it's open or closed? That border is like pouring water into a colander and expecting it not to leak.

The America that we know today was built by immigration.  People coming from other countries to build something new in a new place.  Some people came here because they wanted to, other were brought here against their will, and still others came to escape persecution.  Who do you stop from coming?  The same things are going on today that were going on when this country was founded.  I just don't know. Where do you draw the line or, do you draw a line?

That's a catch 22.....

You want to build a huge fence on our border to keep out Mexicans.  Who do you think will be building the fence??!!

Having lived in a border town  I have seen the guys pull over car after car and check them out, i mean stripping the car down looking for drugs, The dogs are really good at it. My girlfriend and i were pulled over once. But all they wanted to do is have the dog check us out after bp put a small bag of drugs behind a wheel on our truck. The dog found it. The dog was in traing and then we had our picture taken with him. But also have seen them arrest a lot of people there. It is not at the border crossings that they are comming across but the desert. By the hundreds. Where i lived i usually called the border patrol on the average of 4 times a week because of them. My hubby worked in town and i was out in country alone most of the time except for my shepard(1/2 shepard 1/2 wolf. ) Best guard dog i ever had. Never had to worry if the grandbaby was outside he was protected. My dog hated the illigals with a pasion and they were afriad of him.

It is no wonder why mexicans cross the border when the United States gives them free health insurance, free food, interpreters, etc. I can go on and on about the free stuff they get. Why are we citizens paying for their free heath insurance, free food, etc.? Thats  :bs:. Something NEEDS to change. And when the mexicans get here they trash our country. They don't give a damn.

They need to step up the control so we don't have to end up paying for them, but it's okay to let some illegals in because they do the work, we wouldn't do.
