Best video editing software?
« on: December 27, 2011, 02:55:12 pm »
Any video editors out there that can recommend video editing software? I don't have a mac, so no Final Cut Pro for me. And I have no experience whatsoever in film editing, so I'd like something that is fairly simple for me to get the hang of. Any advice?

I like Camtasia, but my videos are mostly desktop captures for money making purposes.

I've never heard of it, but I'll look into it. Thanks!

If you have the money to shell out for it, Sony Vegas is amazing and easy enough for a beginner to pick up. Alot of professionals use this software in the industry.

From my small amount of experience, Premier Pro was easy to understand.

I use adobe Premiere.
Its great, non destructive editing.
Downside for most people is that is for a 64 bit system.
So people would have to upgrade.
Well, most people, I already run a 64bit.
Of course, unless you pirate it or have a student discount, its kind of pricy for the casual editor.
