Honestly, I prefer a firm tooth brush. I have tried the medium and the soft, but the firm is much better. At least for me.

I do not really care for electric toothbrushes and just buy a regular toothbrush! I like to buy the soft to medium bristles, because the hard bristles are to rough on my gums!

Pretty much from soft to medium. Why use a hard toothbrush on the gums and teeth?

I spend part of my time using a rechargeable electric toothbrush and a manual toothbrush, which happens to be "soft" as encouraged by my dentist years ago. The only time I use a manual beyond soft is when I'm using a hotel provided one in the event I forget my toothbrush.
