when does the years stop going by fast

i know as soon as i turned 40 the years just seem to fly by and now that i am 51 they really go by fast what do you think

I think the older we get time goes faster! When I was younger time seemed to take a longer!

I don't think they will ever slow down. I am finding that the world is so fast passed that the time flies by. My son, who is only 33, mentioned how fast the years are going by.

I dont think time will ever stop flying by. In fact the older I get the faster  it seems to go.

When I passed 65 they started slowing down and now at 73 they are at a crawl.

Once I hit 18 I turned 21 in no time...still young so i'll see about the next 5 years or so but I feel like the more responsibilities we get as we get older the faster things seem to go since we're busy tending to them and slow down when there's less

I am so there with you and was thinking the same exact thing recently. I am 42 and for the last 3-4 years they are just flying by now. It sure didnt feel like this in my twenties or early thirties. Thought it was just me.

I feel that the older you get, the faster time flits away.  Maybe it is because we don't have as much time to do things that we want to do or say things that should be said before our final journey.

I think time moves faster because each year becomes a shorter percentage of your life. Year 1 is 100%, year 2 50% etc so when you hit 50 it is only 2% of your life.

Yes, I know time flies by pretty quickly. I still remember the time when I was still a university student (long ago), my sociology professor commented it’s depressing to see young students getting younger and middle age folks getting older. Time waits for nobody. I just let it be.
