Love the open ended question.  I am spending the Christmas holidays with my family doing our typical traditions.  New Years this year will be different as I am helping my sister move instead of going out :(

I am having family over to bake cookies for the holidays. We decided to do this instead of exchanging presents because we are short on money.
New Years Eve is my birthday, but I don't have any plans for it this year.
