I would like to know how I can get referrals without a website.  I think Its much easier to get referrals with a website but I have no idea on how to create one.  So how can I get referrals without a website.

I would set up a YouTube Channel for free. Learning how to create a website is not that hard if you search the Internet for resources. You would need a place to host it and a domain name, but GoDaddy regularly has .info names for less than $2 a year and you can get quality hosting for a buck a month.

You can start a blog.  There are also free websites that you just plug in your information you don't need to know html.  I recently found a site called Posterous Spaces it's a free website/blog site.  Besides that just take your referral url and spread the word.  Print business cards with the url, put it on your signature line in your email.  Participate in forums that allow signature lines and put your url there.  Do traffic exchanges, advertise on PTC sites, print flyers with url.  There are many ways to get the word out without having a website.

Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Free sites are famous for dropping the ball just when you need them the most.

I have been using youtube and some free advertising and listening to oldbuddys advice and I have had a few refferals so far and I have been on here for two weeks.If u want tips let me know

Check out vistaprint... It's free for 30 days... U don't need to know HTML... I took computer info system in college but this is a very simple site to put up plus u can call an they have a staff to help you too and it's free for a month as long as you promote it an advertise it you'll get referrals... People are lazy and lov free stuff it's just the American way but check into it an I have a site on vista for painting portraits so if you need any help setting it up if def help ya

I've been using free websites for several years (one I have my own domain) and have not had any problems.  Free sites are good ways to start for someone just getting started to get the feel of things.  Then if they want that can upgrade.

There's a lot of free sites out there wherein you can create a squeeze page/a one page ad.
That should be helpful and a lot less hassle in terms of advertising for referrals.
