I'm half Italian & have never been there, would love to go at some point!  My best friend got me hooked on this movie called 'Under the Tuscan sun' .. have u seen it?  Makes me want to go more!!!

I have been dreaming of a vacation to Italy for about three years now. I expect to go in the near future. I can't wait to see all that beautiful art and the fountains. I imagine eating all that incredible food. I want to go shopping and shopping and shopping.

Yes, definitely. It would be an amazing experience to see what Italy has to offer first-hand. If I ever had the opportunity to be able to go, I want to learn Italian before going to get the best, fullest experience possible.
