we lived at our old house for 11 years and we moved last year to our new house, it was sad to move but exciting at the  same time, we got a moving truck and a couple of friends with trucks and moved all our stuff in one day and wass all settled in in about a week. well good luck on the move i now it is exciting..

good luck! i moved in june, it was a pain with a 5 month old baby, and a 3 hour ride there and 3 hours back, then moving out of the other house we sold too which was 4 hours from where we moved too..

I moved about 6 months ago and I do not envy you. It is a lot of work, but fun at the same time to feel like you're getting a fresh new start. Good luck and I hope everything goes smoothly!

I moved around the same time you did.  I hate moving.  I'm still settling in.  I'm glad to be out of that broken old place, but it was quite sudden and involved placing stuff in storage.  My helper with the trailer abandoned me  so I'm reliant on busy friends with vans and SUV's.  I hope to get finished this week.

Good luck on your move. I had to move twice last year due to the apartment remodling. I hope I can move to a house some day.
