I am 20 years old and I still find spongebob hilarious and bugs bunny kul. I don't care how old you get, you are still gonna want to watch cartoons all your life. There is always that inner child in everyone.  :peace:

I'm also firmly in the "old cartoon" camp. :) My 3-year-old's current favs are Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes (especially the Roadrunner). Some of the preschool cartoons are okay I like Word World and Caillou but I HATE Spongebob and Thomas the Train and we don't watch either of those.

You are so right! I love cartoons and sometimes I sit and watch cartoons with my kids.  My spouse think I am crazy.  I am 45 years old.  You never too old to look at cartoons.  I do think they keep you younger forever. ;D

Besides Disney, I definitely love the good old Looney Tunes made back in the 40s Golden Age. Bugs Bunny-Daffy-Porky-Elmer Fudd-Yosemite Sam cartoon rules. They’re not exactly made for small children. Love the classic slapstick humor.  ;)

;D Was so tickled to see I'm not the only one who still likes cartoons.  I am 58 years old and believe I will always like cartoons.  Cartoons and animated movies are an art form and I don't believe them to be just for kids - I like a wide variety of movies but have a special affinity for animated movies and cartoons.

Hell no.
Unfortunately stuff these days is not up to par with what used to be.
I still watch the stuff I can get my hands on, anything that is bothered to be put on DVD.
My favorite timeline is from when I grew up during the 90's

Not a fan of what anime has trashed the world with.

I agree that modern cartoons are not up to par, but I disagree about anime being the cause.  Along with older cartoons, I also love lots of anime (though I hate the English dub version, so only watch originals with subtitles); a lot of the anime that got put on cartoon network were butchered so they could make them "age-appropriate".  I'm just glad they didn't get ones like Fruits Basket, Kyo Kara Maoh or Magic Knight Rayearth; they would have pulled all the wisdom out of the anime and left the cuteness only.

I too find myself watching Spongebob and losing brain cells by the minute.  Enjoyed TBS back in the day with G I Joe and Transformers.
