Know anyone with Stage 4 cancer?

This has not been a good year.  I lost my grandmother in June.  My younger brother went to the hospital in Aug. My basement flooded and a lot of centimental books got ruined.  My other grandmother isn’t doing so well.  I was sick all through Oct. and learned that I acquired allergies to mold and mildew.  Now my older brother’s mother-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.  He told me there isn’t many success stories at that stage.  My father told me there was no way to really diagnose cancer sooner.  I have to say I’m a bit scared.
