I love winter! I love being on call (just about every time I have a rare day off) and getting paged for an emergency at 3:00 AM. I have the joy of cleaning off my car, if I can get enough shoveled to get to it after a heavy snow, and then I have the pleasure of navigating the streets that have been plowed/salted in order to get to the hospital. Hey, it doesn't get much better than that, right?! :P That's only one aspect of winter in the Midwest I 'love'....not. :angry7: The worst thing is the times I can not risk driving. Then I experience immense feelings of guilt because I am not there for a patient. I know that sounds silly, even ridiculous, but it does bother me because I have many that I have taken care of for years and quite often the time I can't get to them, is the last time I would have seen them alive. I realize my life is important though, so I will not do anything reckless. Reckless as in the idiots who honestly believe they can drive on a sheet of unsalted/untreated ice.

I don't hate winter weathers. I just don't like them because they don't suit my current way of life.

I don't hate it , I just don't want to be out in it. It's always pretty to see the clean white snow until  the dirty cars and salt get to it. I still wish I was back in Florida

Add me to your list.  Fortunately I am retired so I usually don't have to go out if it is really bad.  Sometimes the icy walks last all winter.  That does scare me.

We love our two week vacation to Disney inFflorida the end of February.  We love Florida but would not want to live there in the summer.

I don't necessarly hate winter.  I hate the cold.  I live in Michigan and we are expecting several inches of snow tonight. I think the snow is kind of pretty but hate it when it gets below zero or the windchill gets down that low.

Depending on what part of Florida u are in it is not bad even in the summer. Just come out after the Sun goes down. Love it.

Count me in. I really don't like winter especially when it shows and can't go anyway.

Our summer was so hot that I should be looking forward to winter but I'm not.  I would be happy if it never went below 25 degrees.
