Well, I used the ignore button. There is a member on here who seems to make it a point to make a lot of rude comments to my posts....now I don't have to read them....

That is horrible that someone would do this?  I thought the whole purpose of the forum was to help each other out and support other fusion cash members, not knock them down?  And to encourage each other by posting how we are doing, too.  In other words, total support, not put downs.

Never had anyone be rude to me on here. But I don't spend all that much time in the forums either. Rude people suck!

I don't think you should respect everyone's opinion.

Some people think the earth is flat or 6,000 years old. I'm supposed to respect that?
When you try to explain something intelligently with examples and proof to a 'flat earther' type you are automatically labeled as rude.  It is a no win situation.

Actually, it's not quite a no-win situation since those who cannot counter-argue in a rational manner and instead resort to a subjective claim of "rudeness" have lost their arguement by copping-out.  Nearly anything whatsoever can be offhandedly considered to be "rude" by someone.  This does not make the comments "rude", it merely means the person making the accusation perceives they have been 'insulted' in some manner, (such as various 'rude' comments made by religious adherents when their "faith" is questioned or, the apparent perception of "rudeness" when 'faith' is questioned for example).

Bottomline being that "rudeness" is nominally in the eye of the beholder, (or, the 'insulted'), but does have some vague parameters of definition as well.

I hate rude people especially those that use their cell phones in public, I don't like listening to their lives while I am shopping or eating. I don't like people texting in a movie or live show, it is very distracting I did not pay to be distracted my the bright light of a phone!

Ironically, some may find your comment to be "rude".

It is so bad nowadays...rudeness is the norm in most instances. No one is saying anything to the rude ones so they just keep doing the same thing.

Has anyone noticed in movies and some TV shows at how rude and indifferent people are to each other?

Some people pick up the actions off of TV characters and think that's the way their supposed to be.

Your opinion is biased and lacks a valid basis.
