I have always tried to follow the "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all" which unfortunately seems to be a completely foreign concept these days. Although I shouldn't be by now rudeness still continually surprises me. Too many people caught up in their own lives to have consideration for others I guess. :(

That makes me feel really sad, about the bullying. My son has a sweet and polite personality and I hope it serves him well. Just know that you raised him right and if someone has a problem with him, it's their problem, not his.  :cat:

This generation of young people have alot to deal with, will they finish college; can they find a job; how long will they have to live with they parents; the psychological things going on with them; and trying to fit in to this society is hard work in it's self. We as adult have to support them.

Life is to short to be so serious.....Take it a day at a time and laugh about everything else. Taking life so seriously is why we live in a world of zoloft and alcohol....

I hope I'm not one of those rude people you're referring to lol, sometimes my opinions can come off as insults, (sometimes they are I guess lol). Anyway, the way I see it is if someone is being flat out rude, I just ignore and show them that I pity that their lives suck so much that they have to act that way.

With all the censors and all the rules and things i think we are having our kids grow up as major babies. I mean my kid got an hour detention for giving someone a wedgy. Come on people, back in my day that was just a way of life. I mean the teacher could touch your shoulder and ask if you needed help with something without getting a sexual harassment charge.
