The power of prayer is connecting with your creator our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When you pray you should talk to Him like He is your friend. You can pray all day long for the Lord to help you but, you also need to help yourself because God is not going to take you by the hand and do everything for you.

Upon consideration, something remains unclear there. If you're going to help yourself anyway, regardless of 'praying' or not, why bother 'praying' for help?
