Some things are definitely learned but then there are genetic things too that we all get from our families whether we like it or not. It can range from something simple like a facial expression all the way to an extreme such as an addiction

I think so, yes.  I saw a story about two girls that were switched at birth, they just met their parents and siblings, and finding out exactly that. Their likes and dislikes are the same as their biological families.

Not a movie, it was on the news about two weeks ago. I am not sure what country it was in, but they will stay with the families that raised them and they only live a few miles away or less.  :) I would try putting "girls that were switched at birth" in a yahoo search box.

I think they can inherit a lot of traits from the real parents.

Yes, my youngest is just like her dad.  It is also the same with my husbands kids.  He is now intouch with one he hasn't raised.  I hear from people that the son is just like his dad.  They even speak a like.

There is a TV show called Switched at Birth that show a few similarities you can have with your biological parents. It's a drama on ABC Family, the first season is on netflix

temperment is inborn, and personality develops, so yeah i think that someone could have some of the traits of parent they've never met.
