Help this newbie out with a question about a survey!
« on: November 19, 2011, 05:26:53 am »
After spending 45 minutes answering all the questions on a survey, I get to the last page and click the arrow to submit my answers.

Then next thing I know, a message comes up which states "The system has encountered an error with your request. Please try again later."

"Please try again later"?  What exactly am I supposed to "try later"?

After waiting forever and nothing happening, I finally broke down and hit the "back" button on my browser.  I then got a  message which stated that my responses have already been received.  Yet, I get the sinking feeling that something didn't go right and my answers really did not get processed.

What do I do?  I'm almost tempted to just blow it off and chalk it up as a wasted hour.

Unfortunately, it's a wasted hour  :(  Sometimes if you get an error like that, you'll be able to back to the previous page, re-answer the question, and then things will be ok when you move forward.  Often though, as in your case, you'll find that doesn't work.

Sorry about your rotten luck!  I know how frustrating that is.

@Yazoo63,

I'm sorry that happened to you. Since you hit submit I don't know if you can get back to the same page, but you could try and hit the backspace.  When doing survey just make sure everything is fill in before you hit submit.

That is why I don't do surveys too much....Do all that work and then you did not qualify.  Just go on to the next one, and you had a learning experience.

I've had trouble with the same thing. Working so hard on answering, then at the last minute the page will shut down! Either that or it'll redirect me to another long survey and refuse any possible finishing area. At least you tried! This is a great way to make money!
