the pink unicorn is making a joke, because this is a winless argument. and will be just as easy to prove that the pink unicorn exists. if people say they believe in a pink unicorn and follow guidelines set by that figure then it iwould be just as real.

Maybe Chuck Norris would help us look for and maybe find the unicorn, so we can prove it exists.
Hey, abdyer2001, you don't by any chance have an extra copy of those "Pink Unicorn Guidelines" that I could borrow, do you? I seem to have misplaced mine.
(wait....now that I think about it, the last time I saw my copy, Chuck Norris was reading it. Maybe he borrowed it).

chuck norris doesnt need to read the guidelines.  he makes the guidelines

OMG!! I had no idea! All that POWER, and a hunky stud muffin too?! YOW!!! :o (I don't care if he isn't as young as he used to be.....he still rocks in MY book. I'd let him eat crackers in my bed....) :P

No but seriously....he MAKES the pink unicorn's guidelines?? Then it's pretty much a given that he could tell us where that glittery critter is hiding.....IF he chose to. I don't know...are we worthy??

How come it won't play?

I mean I think it ignorant... At least q of nines is smart... U just don't agree with some one so u turn to makin fun of a joke... There's a difference in disagreeing and being so ignorant that u take up making fun of a topic... I mean noones makin fun of that pic u got up... Would that offend you... Lol if u disagree with somethin at least have an argument as why instead of being stupid and just continuing a joke... That's not funny at all btw... This is actually an intellectual convo even tho I don agree with some folks but keep ur stupidity out...

The fact of the matter is that this thread will neither be proved nor disproved. I made a joke and others found it amusing so I carried on with it.

Ahh yes...I DO find this amusing, so amusing in fact, I believe I shall continue to carry on with it.
Likely because I am SO ignorant,  AND  I have no argument, so I'm just being stupid,  AND  I refuse to keep my stupidity out of an intellectual (mmm...not all of it..) "convo" ? (I KNOW, who CAN spell conversation? WOW it's so long, it has so many letters - there's just no way you can REMEMBER them. Or use spell check)

I find your use of the English language repulsive and don't feel that you have any room to talk about what is intellectual or not.
Yet again, that's just my opinion.

I'd have to say...
You are correct, madam! Quite repulsive, indeed. I would only beg to differ by saying I think it's more a MIS-USE of the English language...
But that's just MY
ignorant opinion, which I continue to INSIST on posting in this intellectual "convo"

Like I said when you can't prove your side of things you direct the attention elsewhere, ie my shortening of words? Lady if your that worried about how I'm spelling on a forum on the Internet you must live a sad sad boring life lol that means laugh out loud btw and the means by the way hahaha! I have a degree in MIS and can write you a java program that would confuse the hell out of that simple little mind of yours... The last thing I need you doing is correcting my grammar... Your picture reminded me of a old cat lady that's grouchy and no one likes that's got nothing better to do than surf the forum and start an argument and that made my day... Thank you!

Btw since youre so smart and intellectual... You still haven't had a valid argument to the whole atom magically popping up... Instead of being the grouch and correcting my grammar go figure that out... Go feed ur stray cats and sit down and figure that one out... NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!!!! ;)

Darlene, I notice you gave a negative response to posters about midway through this post. It is ungracious to put out a subject for discussion and then criticize people for their opinions. It doesn't matter that many agree with one another. It just tells you that quite a few people who responded to your post see this subject similarly. It takes courage to put your opinion out there which you did.  Good for you! Now, graciously allow others to express theirs without belittling or criticizing them. Have a great day! ptfunds

Your pathetic attempts to mock me are unsuccessful. Also, flaming in the forums is against the ToS. Just so you know. I contributed my opinion long ago and stopped posting until I noticed people quoting me. If you don't like the things I post, you can either not read them or there is this handy little feature called "ignore".

Lol that wasn't directed towards you although my attempts to mock you are very successful and I'm sure many have found it funny... If you can mock My God then I can mock you all day long which is pretty easy I must say lol

the atom just popping up makes as much sense as there being an almighty creator that just magically made life out of dirt.  both use the idea that life just began out of nothing...

so , you can not believe that an atom just as you say popped up. but you can believe that there is an almighty power that created man from nothing, then made woman from the rib of that man.  then when his whole plan went south decided that a virgin would magically get pregnant. if you herd these stories now , you would have to plac them under fiction..  so there is no proof that the believer is correct ..

have you ever thought that some may have been raised in religous households, and have been in positions where they did feel that they needed help. only to find that the only real help that they have had is the help they made for themselves. but if you feel comfort in praying. then i can respect hat.

There is no God. All the wonders around us are accidental.
No Almighty hand made a thousand-billion stars.
They made themselves.
No power keeps them on their steady course.
The earth spins itself to keep the oceans from falling off, towards the sun.

Infants teach themselves to cry when they are hungry or hurt.

A small flower invented itself so that we could extract digitalis, for sick hearts.
The earth gave itself day and night, tilted itself so that we get seasons.

Without magnetic poles, man would be unable to navigate the trackless oceans of water and air,
but they just grew there.
How about the sugar thermostat in the pancreas?
It maintains a level of sugar in blood sufficient for energy.
Without it, all of us would fall into coma and die.
Why does snow sit on mountain-tops, waiting for the warm spring sun to melt it, at just the right time for young crops in the farm below to drink?

A very beautiful accident?
The human heart will beat for 70 to 80 years, without faltering.
How does it get sufficient rest between beats?
A kidney will filter poison from the blood, and leave good thing alone. How does it know one from the other?
Who gave the human tongue flexibility to form words, and a brain to understand them, but denied it to all other animals?
Who showed a womb how to take the love of two people, and keep splitting tiny ovum until,
in a time,a baby would have the proper number of fingers, eyes, ears and hair in allthe right places, and come into the world when it is strong enough to sustain life?
There is no God?......Really?
O fcourse there is a God. I believe he made everything to happen in a natural order.

What exactly are you asserting that the Dead Sea scrolls are proof of?

Like I said y'all go get an atom put it in a box and see if it creates a universe lol...

What does putting an atom in a box have to do with implicitly claiming a fictitious deity created a universe?

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.
