Well you may live in a different area than me. I live in Downtown Portland Oregon. I get to see and sometimes am in the midst of the Occupy Portland Groups. Not cause I want to... I was just going to the TriMet Train, got caught up in this crowd coming my way, next thing I new I was walking and Chanting something about Corporation and Banks etc etc. Neat huh. Peacefull, till the *bleep* next to me started shouting vulgarities and threw a rock into the bank window.
OK, that is enough for me. March and Protest, peacefully, let traffic through, especially an ambulance that may be taking a child to the hospital, don't stop them. Don't spit or grab the Riot Policemans Wand! Idiot you are just asking for it, and making the rest of us look like we are looking for a fight!
Yeah, that is what happens. Yes we do need to protest. Yes we do have a right to free speech. Yes we do still need to obey the laws. Yes that Policeman has worked overtime, is sleep deprived and now pissed because he has not been home to his wife and children for 3 days now. And yes tempers are flaring, and yes the points are being made and yes there are those within the crowd that are going to do what ever they can to make it explode beyond what is intended. In fact some of these individuals travel from Occupy this to anothe city to Occupy that.
The Occupy groups need to determine who these individuals are and kick them out of the group. So the true and peacefull demonstrators can continue, and not be locked up.
Peace and luv man
