I'm excited that they're taking the case up. Hopefully it'll be found unconstitutional and we can find better solutions to fix our health care system.

Any law that requires the American people to purchase something that should be a choice should be unconstitutional. :notworthy:

Hopefully they will strike it down.  I also hope this causes them to revisit the "general welfare clause", which doesn't actually give the government any authority in any matter at all if people would simply read it and realize that it is in the preamble, and the preamble doesn't authorize authority and is simply a declaration.  (really people if you haven't read it go read it).

A quote from Thomas Jefferson regarding the matter:
“that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and, as they would be the sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please.”

Regardless of what they do I will not partake in the mandate and if they want to lock me up then they can certainly try...
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

It is unconstituitonal, plain and simple. The Constitution expressly limits the owers of the Federal government, and no where does it say that they can force Americans to buy anything. Besides that, it is just creating an intolerable burden for a lot of people who can already barely make ends meet. They fail to consider that the majority of American without health insurance don't have it because they earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to be able to afford to pay for insurance on their own, if it's not offered by their employer, or if they are self-employed.
This law is only the beginning of many more, unconstitutional, tyrannical, Communistic laws, intended to control every facet of ouur lives.

Today’s Health Care doesn’t concern me. Waste of time, waste of money. The future of Heath Care for sure will change. I don’t even carry health insurance. A friend of mine thinks I’m odd for not being part of the status quo. I am only responsible for my own health. It is true our inner immune system is actually our own best doctor if we follow the laws of nature.  :)

I also really hope they strike it down.  It is clearly unconstitutional, although some of the other junk we have in this country is unconstitutional as well.  The whole "living breathing constitution argument is a really weak one.  That really means that each generation, or even each administration is able to remake the Constitution in any way they choose.  If you don't like what the Constitution says, then let's take up a vote (in the proper way) to amend it, not re-write it through judiciary activism.  My 2 cents.
