Do you believe once a cheat ALWAYS a cheat?

I think if someone has it in them to cheat in the first place they will continue to do so, what do you think?

It has been said that a zebra cannot change the color of their stipes but I think that everyone is worth a second chance.  But that is only my opinion.

In most cases if someone cheat once they will do it again.

I believe once a cheat, much more likely to be a cheat.  And unfortunately today it seems most people must be cause that is all we hear about.

If you cheat hand have a conscience you did something wrong, you won't do it. But if you don't care the first time you did and you didn't get caught obviously you will keep on doing it again.

That's possible. But what about the people who cheat, get caught, then do it again?

No I don't and I can say this from personal experience.  Some people can learn from their mistakes.

which only comes from making a conscious decision
to not be a scumbag.

Even if they don't again, can one truly develop the trust in the person again or is one just tormenting themselves with the hope of fidelity?  Also one must be able to guarantee that they will not hold resentments or hostilities regarding the matter to even begin to consider the question or otherwise it will be a worthless endeavor.

No. If a person has cheated once, it does not mean they will continue to do it. They may do it again, or they may stop.

No, that would be ridiculous to assume that because a person does something once, they are destined to continue down a similar path for the rest of their lives.  Not all people and situations are the same.
