Hank Williams Jr.
« on: November 10, 2011, 12:15:31 am »
I don't care if Monday Night Football banned Hank Williams Jr. for the media hype surrounding him about the fact he supposedly compared Obama to Hitler. This has been blown way out of proportion by the mainstream media and has resulted in some pretty nasty backlash towards Williams. Thing is, they sensationalized it and twisted it around to sound like something it wasn't.

The MC's (Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood) performed a skit about it at the beginning of the CMA's and everybody was hysterical with laughter. Right about then, Hank comes onstage and everyone erupted in cheers, and gave him a standing ovation. Just goes to show how stupid the whole thing got, and how the public can show the media just who's side they are on.

People are getting tired of being "force feed" the mainstream media's hype, and are letting them know it. Either report the news correctly, and if there is no news, STOP making it up......liars!

We say Grace, and we say Ma'am.........and if you don't dig it, we don't give a d_ _ _.

I agree that the media took what he said way out of context.  I agree with what Hank said, it did seem strange to me.  ESPN can get bent for what they did as far as I am concerned

It's amazing how biased most of the media giants are. They can ruin a reputation by twisting the facts or downright lying. Some of our online sites "news" is biased also. Yahoo news is notorious for pushing their own liberal agenda. They are always deleting someone's comment that doesn't match their liberal stance. What is sad is that a lot of people read the news and accept it without researching further. We have a very gullible public, and that's who they prey on. Not everything in print is truthful.

Just to add my two cents I would much rather party on Monday night with Hank than any of the dictator lubbing executives at ESPEEN.

I think Hank Jr. has a way with words.  Maybe some people just dont like to hear the truth or know what to do with it when when the hear it. Thats why they retaliate in some way or another. Thumbs up for Hank.

Monday nights aren't the same without Hank. :'(  Unfortunately, the NFL is the most P.C. sporting organization out there, and they were not going to let anything slip by.

If all the actors in Hollywood that compared George W Bush to Hitler were out of a job,Tinsel Town would be deserted!

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!
