Christmas Decorations

We start decorating in December. This will be my hubby and i first christmas together

Normally right after Thanksgiving, but I just bought a new silver tree with sock monkey ornaments, and I am super excited about putting it up.

When do you start decorating for Christmas?  We usually do the weekend after Thanksgiving.  But we start listening to Christmas music right after Halloween.

I have thought about it. That is as for as I have gotten. I will like to decorate the tree Thanksgiving weekend so we can enjoy it longer.

Since it is just my husband and I we usually don't decorate until about the first weekend in December.  I love Christmas but without kids around it isn't as exciting as in years past.  I do have a 1 year old grandson now but i very rarely get to see him    Hope that maybe I will get to spend more time with him in the future.

My mom says the same thing.  Makes me want to enjoy Christmas that much more with my kids still little.  It's so fun to see them get so excited.

we usual put the tree up the Friday after thanksgiving, and then decorate it later, after all the lights sre up in the house.
