Have you ever tried to keep a secret?

When people ask me if I can keep a secret I always say 'no'. I do not want to slip up and say anything that the person would be upset about.

Secrets especially this time of the year are very special and I keep them unless it will cause harm to themselves or someone else.

Having half of my bachelor's degree in psychology and growing up in a family of attorneys I am excellent at keeping secrets as well as being very approachable by anyone who wants a sympathetic ear.  My business, in finance, puts me in a position of having to keep many a secret all of the time.  My wife has wanted to know what some of our friends make on a yearly basis and I won't share with her which drives her nuts.  I even enjoy creating secrets like keeping a stash of hidden cash and multiple streams of income.

I can keep a secret better than a freezer can keep meat. I can keep my mouth shut. I want people to feel safe with me that they can share with me what's in their heart. Everyone needs someone they can share those things with if you are that person you will know life's delight's in the confidences of your friends. Keep your mouth shut! It is so worth it, I promise you.
