how many kids came to your house for trick or treat?

We had about 40 kids! We live in a quiet part of town with no street lights. When it got dark everyone went home!

We had one kid, and that was one more than we had last year! idont know why we dont get them.

I live in a small rural gold rush town in the mountains and do not get any children knocking at my door. The FedEx and UPS guy has a hard time finding my house when I'm getting a delivery. However, I don't celebrate Halloween and will not pass out candy even if I could. All my lights get turned off and nobody ventures up my long driveway to come to my door. Just as well. There are a couple victorian houses around my neighborhood that actually could pass as "haunted' houses, but they are closed to trick or treaters also.

Thing is....with all the stuff that can be put into candy and stuff, it's a wonder any parents let their kids out for trick or treat anymore. So many kids are poisoned or hurt during Halloween. Halloween is a pagan holiday that has it's roots in the black arts. There are people that literally take it upon themselves to do harm to children or any humanity when the opportunity arises.

I would say 25-30. Most just wanted the candy and didn't bother with costumes. It's rather sad when most said they were too old to dress up

We live in area of mostly older  adults so we only had about 13 kids, which was up by about 5 from last year. It would be nice to have more!

In my area it gets smaller and smaller every year  =( Kinda sad halloween is not the same as when I was a kid which was only a few years ago. I worked as a pizza driver worst day to work sooo busy but everybody mad its late barely got any tips!!! But I saw like no kids !!!! My mom handed out candy and said less then 10 came !!!! CRAZY !!!!!

We don't normally participate (we've skipped a couple years), but this time we did get a couple bags worth of candy just in case and kept the light on for a couple hours. Our turnout was merely about a half dozen kids and another half dozen late teens or adults. As we have been cutting back on our candy intake I brought any leftover candy to work, which was gone in less than an hour.

We had a steady flow for about two hours.  The weather ended up being nice and I noticed many more neighbors passed out candy on our street compared to years past, which I think helped with the numbers being pretty strong.  We went through seven bags of candy in total.

I live on a dead end street in the country so I did not get any trick or treaters at all... I wish atleast a few kids would come down here lol

I stop giving out candy years ago, because the kids stop coming to my house.   I do take my son and niece out for trick or treat across town.

Only one! I was so sad! This is my favorite holiday and I was so disappointed.

Not many...like 10. We didn't get much candy so we were closing business pretty quick.

At my house there were 20 or so kids, and then a big group of youngish college students. At friend of mines house there were about a thousand. His neighbor has a sweet set up for Halloween and it attracts a LOT of people from all over the place. It's getting kind of local famous.
