Spiderman 3
« on: October 31, 2011, 02:35:24 pm »
Just got around to watching Spiderman 3 which is the only one of the trilogy I wanted to watch anyway.  I have to say it was well worth the $1.96 I paid for it but Tobey Maguire just can’t act.  He’s got no facial expressions except crying and his evil is only slightly different than his goodguy—that’s to say he acts more robotic when he’s evil that when he’s good.  James Franco, on the other hand, acts way better than him (just too bad he makes such a lousy Oscar host) and Kisten Dunst acts better than both of them.  But then she’s been acting a lot longer than they have.  Didn’t see the first two spider movies and 3 was clearly meant to connect to 2 but they probably did a good thing by droping Maguire, though he probably be known his whole career as Spiderman.  Seriously, who actually watched the Cider House Rules?

You sound like an accomplished actor yourself.
