What type of job do you do?
« on: October 27, 2011, 02:55:12 am »
I drive a school bus. I drive for a high school. My mother always told me that kids could blow your mind with the things they say, and boy was she right. Some are funny, and some are sad  and then some are just plain weird.

I was a data entry operator for 35 years until losing my job due to company selling out.  I am now disabled and try to stay as busy as I can.  It has taken quite awhile for me to adjust.  But then again, each day is trying.

I am a Medical Assistant, however I am currently a housewife.  I don't earn enough to cover daycare costs for my two youngest.  It would cost me almost 14 an hour for daycare and I only earned 10.  My husband was paying for me to work.  :-  When they are old enough to enter school, hopefully there will be a job out there somewhere for me.

I'm an accountant. I'm really getting tired of it and trying to figure out what to do next.

After being unemployed for 10 months, I got a part time job doing bookkeeping for a local roofing company. It's not too bad, just wish it was more money and more hours...

I work part-time as a courtesy clerk and I'm trying to transfer into the home department so I can work inside and not have to deal with any bad weather. I wish I can find some kind of a carpentry job.

I work as a Clerk Typist Sr. in a hospital. I take care of providing patients with metrocards for public transportation and setting up ambulette service from home to hospital and vise versa. I have been working here for 5 years now and the pay is fairly good or like my mom says atleast it pays the bills and puts a roof over my head.

I work at a museum creating programs and activities for kids and families. I love my job but not my boss - hoping to get a job somewhere else soon.

I am a fiction writer.  Most of my stories fall under the sword and sorcery catagory and the magazines that post those kind of stories aren't alot and they don't pay much but I know I was meant to be a writer and so I don't write for the money.  I do it because I love writing.
