I don't want apples or oranges in my bushel basket!

Honestly, after watching the debate, the only people I could see myself voting for are the ones who have no chance of being nominated - namely Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich.  So, what's probably going to end up happening is the Republicans will put up one of the idiots (Cain, Bachmann, Perry) or Romney (who's not a complete idiot but I'm not a fan of him either) and I'll vote Obama not because I like him but because I feel he'll end up damaging the country less.

Yes, Ron Paul is the only one that could save our country, but the media just ignores him. There are too many special interests that would lose if he were president, and they won't allow that to happen.
No matter who the Republicans get, I'll either vote for them anyway or I won't vote. None of them could hurt the countyr as much as Obama will if he gets re-elected. Obama is planning to use his second term to turn the country into a full-blown communist country.

There's always the option to research and vote for one of the non-Dem/non-Repub party candidates.  I'd rather vote for a 3rd party candidate I can support than not vote...or "vote for the lesser of 2 evils" scenario.  Last election I had 6 other candidates to choose from outside of the big 2, and found another candidate I could honestly vote "for".

I'd bet if more people researched all the candidates and voted for the candidate they'd like best, we'd see the votes distributed away from the 2 parties we currently have locked in stalemate.  That would be the best way to shake up D.C. - get some fresh blood in there.

I think the politicians and their campaigns have us brainwashed into thinking if we don't vote Dem or Repub - we'd be "throwing our vote away".  That, in my opinion, is pure rubbish.  It's like believing our only 2 wireless options are AT&T or Verizon.   :P
