Do you still write checks?

I write checks for a few things like rent, water bill (my water company doesn't do online billing and the charge you extra to take a phone payment).  I also write checks for my kids school pics, fund raisers, stuff like that.

I have been using my debit card but my bank is going to charging to use it anywhere except at their ATM machines so I guess I will start writing more checks.

Some creditors still require pay by check only, so yes, in some cases, I still pay by check.

I haven't written any checks lately but I may in the future. I want to have them for awkward payment situations and for saving myself money order fees. I'll keep them around for awhile.

I have to for rent, but other then that I barely do anymore. Everything is online.

I still write some checks.  I have a couple of bills that I mail off and write a check!  There are actually a few companies that don't let you pay online.  EX. water bill, Dr's bills.

I don't write as many as I used to but still have to do some.  I noticed that quite a few of the posts mention water bills by check which I have to do also or drive 20 miles to deposit it in their lockbox at their office.  Doctor, vet, house payment and feed store are others I pay by check.

No, I don't write checks. I use my bank card for nearly everything.
Occassionally I'll need to get a money order.

My spouse writes checks, but I use postal money orders to order via mail.

When I get a check made out to me, I cash it and keep the cash.

When I order online, I use Pay Pal.

Any PayPal payments sent to me, just stay in there and I use it for spending, without withdrawal to the bank.

I write checks to my kids' music lesson teachers, the occasional medical bill (I pay most over the phone or online w/ a debit card), my charitable contributions to my church, and a few others that only take check or cash.
