I think this movement is unstoppable and is the only venue left for change to happen in this country. Just look at your government failing at every turn to do the things that will bring jobs and re-store this country to economic stability. If you want that to continue, then turn your back on OWS. But it is about more than that. We live in a society that promotes homelessness. poverty, hunger and the destruction of the American dream. If you want that to continue, turn your back on OWS. We live in a country where state governments are intent on passing budgets that compromise the education of your children. If you want that to continue, turn your back on OWS. We live in a country where states are infringing on everyone's right to vote, passing voter registration legislation that makes it impossible for hundreds of thousands to exercise their right to vote. If you want that to continue, then turn your back on OWS. We live in a country where a state can determine that your city is not viable and take over that city. If you want this to continue, then turn your back on OWS.
I am an activist grandmother who has marched and demonstrated for many years, since the days of Civil Rights to anti-war and I know we can make a difference. OWS is the only venue left that can bring about the changes to all of the above and restore dignity to the existence of all of us. I can no longer actively participate, but every iota of my spirit is with OWS.

You talk about the government is failing us, but then go on the say you support the OWS, a movement that wants to give the government even more control?  Really?  Giving more control to same group of people that have failed me makes no sense to me.  I'm not sure how that could make sense to anyone.

I know exactly what you mean, hawkeye3210!  I cannot understand how these OWS people.  Do they really think they are doing what they say they are doing or are they so foolish as to think the rest of us would believe their obvious dishonesty.  I am left trying to decide if they are mostly complete idiots or mostly deliberate liars.

This is what happens when millions of Americans are out of work and have nothing else to do but to protest.

If this movement is just because Americans are out of work with nothing else to do but protest explain why other countries like the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Spain, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, and Chile have join the movement?  Are they out of work Americans too?

Could be if they have Americans living in UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Spain, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, and Chile.

#OWS wants to give the government more control?  Which #OWS movement are you even talking about?  The one you see on Fox "News"?

No, the ones you see on every news channel, internet blog, and everywhere else.  They are demanding things be paid for and buisnesses be regulated by the government (read taxpayer money).  They want a cradle to grave outcome assured society.  That is fundamentally anti-American and pro-Socialist/Communist/Fascist.

I don't even think they know what they are protesting, just trying to be part of the it crowd.

What alternate dimension are you inhabiting, and were you born there, or did you find a rift in the space-time continuum?

I already notice some politicians/liberals/socialists trying to distance themselves a bit from OWS with the rapes and violence and other crimes occurring from them.  Even the nuttiest liberals have a hard time justifying a right to rape.

Have any rapes actually been proven?

Well not been tried in court yet.  Suspects arrested and such.  Now I understand this doesn't reflect upon the entire OWS movement.  I admit I am biased against them because I am opposed to everything they advocate (not necessarily everything they say though).  I can only fairly ask you supporters of OWS who haven't heard anything about the rapes and violence to pretend such had happened anywhere near a Tea Party event and speculate on how the media would have covered it.

I live on Earth.  I often wonder where these lunatics and their supporters come from.  Care to add anything substantive to the debate or are you now just asking questions like 'have the rapes been proven yet'?  Very sad.
