Absolutely not!  You can hope that they make good choices but overall what they do is what they are going to do..... unfortunately that holds true even if others are involved and could potentially be endangered by choices being made.

Most of my life, people have been trying to change me. It NEVER works. All it has done is create resentment towards them. The way that I always saw it: The way that I'm living my life isn't harming myself or anyone else, therefore it isn't a problem. It seems there are egotistical who think their lifestyle is "better" and want to push you to be like them. Whenever I've changed something, I've done it out of my own free will. Now, everyone has accepted that there is no changing me and that I'm happy with my life just the way it is (which is more than they can say for themselves).
