I watched X Factor for the first time this week.  I liked it. I haven't watched American Idol for years.  Doesn't interest me anymore.

I'm not a big fan of American Idol with all the judge changes all the time.  I also don't understand why Simon left just to start a very similar show?

I don't watch any of them, but ironically I've been watching clips of X Factor UK on youtube because Kelly Rowland is on there.

I actually I do not watch either, but would prefer American Idol over X-factor just because I cannot stand Simon! ::)

I used to watch the X-Files with Decoughvney (not sure how to spell his last name). That show was exciting.

Neither, they're both basically the same show.

American Idol or X-Factor

I haven't watched American Idol since about season 3m and I feel X Factor is the exact same thing. The only singing reality show I watch now is Sing-Off. I prefer it because the judges actually vote on musical talent and it doesn't depend on who has the biggest fan base at home. There is so much talent on Sing-Off, it is ridiculous.

That is simple more control over show input and let's not forget $$$$$$$$$ :notworthy:
