Do you like to be licked?

By your dog?  When I had a dog she never licked me thank goodness.  I think it is gross to see people being licked by dogs.  Some people seem to love it though which I think is nasty.  Do you like it when your dog licks you?

Anyways, I have never had a dog as a pet, but whenever I go to a relative's house, their dogs will lick me. I really don't like it. My husband says it's because I smell good.  I guess I do, I am always wearing some kind of body perfume fragrance or spray! Others say, that animals lick me because they feel I am a good person. Idk.......I try to show the affection back, as long as the dogs don't lick my mouth or private parts, because those need to be left alone!! Haha!!

They actually like to lick inside the ear because they like the taste/smell of ear wax.  I know that may sound gross but animals like body secretions especially the ear.  Once again, I know this sound gros but that is also why they like to chew on underpants.

I wouldn't mind if a dog licked me.  Granted, I wouldn't go out of my way to let it happen, but I wouldn't run away in sheer terror if it happened, either.  They're just trying to show you some love (and tell you that you're tasty!).
