How will the Yankees fair in the 2011 Playoffs. Give me your insight on this. I am open to all comments, opinions, questions whatever you have to say.

I am definitely not a Yankees fan, but that has nothing to do with me thinking they won't make it out of this series. Regardless of who comes out of the AL, I think the Phillies have the World Series clinched. Their pitching is too strong and their batting too hot for any team to beat them in a full series. Anyway, I can't much get into playoffs this year after my Braves completely choked on winning the Wild Card spot.

Now how can u say that when the Yankees beat them in the 2009 world series come on now are u for real. How many world series wins do the Phillies have. Now the Yankees going for there 28th. I don't want to hear that the Yankees bought them cause they didn't they know when to cash in on the big oppertunities. Everyone had the same chances that the Yankees did to cash in on the big names and they took the advantage and didn't strike out. Tell me another story. We also have the best closer in baseball

They aren't the same teams as in 2009. Yankees may have a good closer, but Phillies have 3 of the top pitchers in all of baseball.

But look at them now they are fighting to move on series tied 2-2. The Yankees are looking a lot stronger. The Yankees could have gotten Lee but didn't need him.

Well it looks like we both get to eat our words this time. At least they were good 5-game series, much to my surprise!

Yes I think it was a surprise to the whole east coast. I don't know what happened I guess we have to wait until next year. YANKEES STILL RULE

Both of the League Championship Series have been exciting! Anyone else enjoying Milwaukee -vs- St. Louis aka "the crying birds" and Texas -vs- Detroit? I'm a Reds fan, so have been rootin' against St. Louis! LOL

Haha you sound EXACTLY like my Dad. He has been a Reds fan forever, so these last 15-20 years (I'm estimating) have not been too pleasant for him. I think he'll go crazy if St. Louis wins this series.

It's been a tough thing, yeah. Hopefully next year, with the new crop of rookies coming along, will get us back to the playoffs. And definitely, anyone but the Cardinals winning will be fine with me!

To be honest with you now that there are no East coast teams in it now its boring to watch I have no idea who is winning or losing. My team is out so I might catch up on it when the world series comes around

Well I've been watching still because I am from Texas, so the Rangers are my AL team. I just like the NL so much more! I'll definitely be yelling for the Rangers while my husband roots against them. This should be very interesting! =]

Thats really cool. I see that Texas is back in it for the 2nd straight year. Maybe they can redeem thereselves from losing to the Giants last year.
