sequels in production or pre-production

anybody else aware of all these sequels to old movie series' coming out? there's a new american pie coming out called american reunion, it has all the original cast. there's also die hard 5, lethal weapon 5, beverly hills cop 5, austin powers 4, i guess they're working on a 5th and final indiana jones. there was supposed to be an i am legend(prequel/sequel), independence day 2, and i,robot 2, but it looks like those all got canned in favor of men in black 3(lame). anybody know any other interesting sequels/prequels that you're looking forward to?

I was a fun of the Lethel Weapon and Bev. Hills Cop. So I suppose would like to check them out!

The Hobbitt is supposed to be coming out as a prequel to the Lord of the Rings movies.

there is a sequel to thor movie in 2013 and hangover 3 is also coming
