DO YOU WORK AT MCDONALDS

Does anybody work at Mcdonalds and if you do what do you think about that job.  I think its an easy job but I don't really like how much they pay.  I know that if you become a manager you get more benefits and you get like a 1 raise.

No, but I've done fast food work before. It can be fun sometimes, but it can be hell a lot of times, and the pay sucks. Managers go through too much for their pay as well. I went to school to be an RN. I think you should try to go to school for something if you are not already. Fast food is a stepping stone kind of job IMO.

I don't work at McDonalds, but I don't think it's an easy job, especially when there is a big line inside and on the drive-thru, like after school,

The starting pay isn't very good, but the opportunities for advancement and better pay are very good.  Their philosophy is to promote from within, so knowing how the business works through experience is going to put you on the fast track to success.  Management can tell if you are responsible and a hard worker pretty quickly as well.  Work hard and be on time with a willingness to learn and you will be successful there.

I WORKED AT MCDONANLDS FOR 6 MONTHS WHEN MY REAL JOB WENT UNDER A FEW YEARS BACK....LOTS OF YOUNG KIDS WORK THERE BUT I MADE ENOUGH TO KEEP MYSELF FROM BEING EVICTED...THEY ALSO GAVE ME A TURKEY AND 20 DOLLAR GIFT CARD AT CHRISTMAS, SO I WAS GRACIOUS.

I'm actually trying to get a job at McDonalds at the moment, I mean I'm pretty sure they pay minimum wage, and that's all I really need at the moment.

No I don't work at McDonalds.  I have worked in small town cafes before when I was a kid.

I have never worked fast food, but I definately don't think it's always easy -- probably depends on where you are and what your store is like.
I do think that the pay is going to be minimal as this is a beginning type of a job for most  -- in this economy many people are only paying minimal so I am not surprised by that.

I wouldn't want to work their unless it was a last resort. If your unemployment has run out and you can't find anything better, then it's  viable option. Better a small paycheck than nothing; at least you get free hamburgers.

I do not work at McDonald's, I did work there for a month or so and hated it. I worked at Burger King for over 2 years though and didn't mind that at all. The only thing I didn't like about BK was smelling like french fries if I didn't shower right after work!

I don't work for McDonald's but I have when I used to be a teenager.  I actually liked it sometimes because we made it fun and I actually worked at the biggest one (or used to be) in Orlando, FL.  I would not work there nowadays but I also don't knock anyone who does and is attempting to make a living.  And yes--their pay does suck for the most part, unless you're a manager in some capacity.
