Abortion versus Murder

A lady on the news is convicted of murder after giving birth to her twin kids.  If she had performed the routine abortion procedure some time before giving birth she would still be a free woman.  From a scientific perspective, life begins at inception without exception unless there is a scientific dysfunction.  Aside from all the facts, and cultural beliefs and opinions, I could argue FOR each side in many twisted ways...but does anyone have an "untwisted" perspective on this?

There really are no untwisted viewpoints on this-- what one person says is going to massively contend someone elses. When you set science aside and bring in religion, it gets even more twisted. People need to understand that abortion is not a black-or-white issue. They need to understand why the person is having one and where they're coming from-- it's difficult to put yourself in someone elses shoes, but that's part of growing to understand the world.

Btw, Macy-- could u post a link of the actual story?

its just my opinion but i have 4 kids and the last 3 were not planned and birth control faild with my last 2 but in any which way you look at it my last 3 out of 4 kids were the best un planned parts of my life..how ever diapers still suck no matter what..lol..

Yeah I never understand that. I consider them both to be murder. Why is it that a baby in the womb is not considered a human but once the baby comes out it is? What is the difference?

Abortion is murder. I think you can explain this from a religious or scientific perspective. Once an egg and sperm unite you get a zygote. This zygote is human although it does not look like a human yet. It the same 46 chromosomes that an adult has. Biologically its human so why should abortion be allowed when it involves taking a human's life.

Human definition of death is screwed no matter how you look at it . For example Doctors can kill you(anastasia can't spell it you know what I mean) and it's ok because it's a surgery and they can bring you back i'm sure there's more examples...
