Unless you live in an area where the water is really bad, generally tap and bottled are the same....so, no need to waste your money on bottled water...

I prefer bottled water because it has been filtered. Tap water is not safe unless you boil it before drinking it.

I definitely do not like tap water. It has a very different taste than bottled water! Bottled water is filtered and completely safe! I do not suggest anyone to drink tap water.

Yes, we buy bottled water because the water where we live is scary.  It has a faintly bad smell and taste and there is a fernary next door where I know the guy dumps stuff into the ground so I avoid drinking it.  Also the house where I did live (and my sons still live) has "city" water and to me, you might as well just take a big swig of bleach as it is extremely clorinated.  Once my mom saw on tv that bottled water is as bad or worse than tap water, but I will still take my chances on bottled water.

I believe bottled water is a waste of money and resources.   Think of the plastic bottles, the transporting of the plastic bottles.   There is no guarantee of the purity of the water in the plastic bottles.  I believe filtered tap water is the safest.

I drink bottled water at work.  The water there is terrible tasting and there is stuff floating in it.  At home we have the one in the fridge so I just get water and ice from there.
