Do you get a lot of spam emails?

I've noticed since I started taking surveys, and giving my email address out a lot, i'm getting BOMBARDED with emails. Is this happening to anyone else?

of course.. lol that's expected which is why i hope you have a seperate email account for FC ? . my mail is up in the 1000's cuz i  haven't been able to check and manage it much lately

Yellow Rose is right. Make a free email (Google, Yahoo!, Etc.), and have all emails from offers, surveys, etc. sent there.

I agree with the others. Make a free e-mail for surveys. Otherwise, it just gets insane.

I get more than 100 spam emails a day and probably 150-200 non spam ones.

Yes, that is why I opened a new email address for all the offers. I guess that's the price you pay for making money with offers.

I have a lot of different emails that I rotate and use for all the offers. That way my main email doesn't get so much spam. Usually by the time I get around to checking the other emails, there are a few thousand spam emails in each one. Of course, they don't consider it spam, because if you read the fine print at the bottom of the offers, a lot of them say that you agree to get emails from all the sponsors and marketing partners every day.

Unfortunately I used my regular every day email address  i'm gonna open a new email address to use from now on. I too am up to the 1000s in emails. ggrrrrrr!!!!

I use my main e-mail as well. Luckily, they all go to junk so I just open an occasional e-mail from there and unsubscribe from mailing lists. Just unsubscribing from 1 or 2 a day has greatly reduced the bulk of spam I receive. It does sound much smarter to use a different e-mail for offers, I will have to start doing that as well.

This is why having several email addresses is useful. I get tons of emails (spam) every second, even in my primary personal email.

Well when they are asking for your email you have to assume they are going to be sending you stuff!

Tons.  As everyone else has suggested - an email just for FC is best idea.  Any account that you have for any length of time, however, will generate junk mail after a while if you do any business online.

My e-mail does a pretty good job with the filtering. I still get spam, but the volume is manageable. I don't think I've really got much from surveys, unless I happen to be joining a panel (get weekly e-mails in this case).
