Should You Apologize If You Didn't Say Anything Wrong?
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:42:55 pm »
:'(Should you apology to someone if you did not say anything wrong?  Because sometimes when men get mad at their wives they always say things to them that ready hurts their feelings. Then they come back later to say they're sorry for all the things that they had said. Then they ask their wives will they forgive them? But sometimes it takes the wife a little longer to tell her husband she's sorry too. Because she doesn't feel that she should apologize to him because everytime they get into a  heated argument he always says the same things to her that he had said to her before.

I don't feel that you should apoligize, if you didn't say anthing wrong!! But in the case of wives - that is a different story. You should try not to get critical - I know how that goes!! And peace in the house is better than War!!

If he is always using the same words or situation to hurt you, then it must, because he keeps repeating it, and he is getting the hurt reaction out of you that he wants. Next time, try not to show that it hurts and say something like "can't you come up with any new material?" Or "That ship has sailed so lets move on."  If he doesn't get the "hurt" reaction out of you he is wanting, there is no need to use the same offense time after time.

Forgiveness is unconditional and should not have any stipulations who deserves it or not. If your husband offends you over and over again in one day, you are to forgive him, and him you. It's not easy. However, the fact he is using the same offense over and over to get to you, tells me he has not forgiven you. Otherwise, it would not come back up in the conversation when he gets mad. People who use past offenses or guilt of past offenses to gain control, are very insecure people.

If you have not done anything or said anything to ask forgiveness for, then don't. Sometimes complete silence speaks louder than any words.

i don't think you should aplogize if you dont feel like u did or say something wrong. sometimes you just have to say it to keep the peace at home. I dont's say i'm sorry cos that's accepting i'm wrong when i'm not but i would do something nice for him or make him laugh.
