Stess it is a hard one to handle.  The bad thing is it isn't good for us.  I hate it when I get so stressed out.  Take deep breaths and try and figure out what you are stessing over, if it is something you can work on or fix than figure out how and don't be afraid to ask for help or to bull headed to ask for help.  I don't handle stress that well so these our the things my counselor is trying with me. No need to be stressed out over something you can't change so work on the things you can.

I find when I am stressed I go for a run (or walk) on our trail system, it is away from everything and I can clear my head, then I come back and write out a do list and prioritize using 1 to 10. If you are trying to do more than 10 things in a day, then you need to find a way to delegate or set better deadlines.

Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy helps so does the homeopathic Nat. Phos.

I find some quiet time reading can help, especially if it's a wise teacher like Eckhart Tolle or Wayne Dyer.  Listening to their audio books with your eyes closed is a wonderful way to do this too.   :peace:

Another thing I like to do is to take time to work on something I enjoy and am passionate about like genealogy.

Sometimes getting a bunch of little tasks done helps because it gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Meditation and aromatherapy can help too.  They recommend lavender for calming.   :peace:

Stress is not only unhealthy it is self-defeating to those suffering it. In today's world it is practically inescapable. We have to realize stress accomplishes nothing and needs to be put in perspective. First, escape to anything that will calm you so that you can think clearly about whatever is causing stress. Then deal with those issues you can do something about and let go of those you can't.
