Mmmm I suppose that is one of the many pro's to wearing slippers.  In the winter, or when the weather is rather chilly, they are a great, comfortable way to keep your feet perfectly warm.

I also go barefoot until it gets too cold and then I wear slippers.  If you take your shoes off at the door, you won't be carrying in any dirt, etc.

Too many germs are brought into the home from shoes.

There's a simple solution to that.  Make a habit of having anyone who enters your home drop their shoes at the door.  I only have to vacuum like once a month due to this one simple trick.

As for going barefoot...nah, I always have to wear socks, even when I sleep!!  My feet would get way too cold otherwise!

i go barefoot, unless i'm in the kitchen.
i like to slip on my flip-flops if i'm cooking

i should be wearing slippers in my house coz my feet do get dirty but i end up taking a shower so they usually get clean.
