Sure am sorry the month of August zipped by so quickly.  I only got in 15 forum posts in August so I have missed the bonus.  Booo.   I will try real hard to get thirty in for September.  Just didn't have enough time to work with my computer last month. 

So, take my advice and post twice today.

I was a silly newbie and didn't realize it was 30 posts in one calendar month, so I just missed it too.

I always start up early in the month to get a head start in the posting.

That can happen.  Today is the 3rd of September and I realized this morning that I had not posted at all this month.  Plus it will be a short month for me as I am traveling the third week. 

But, there is always another month if you miss your 30 in one month.  Plus, be glad that you are busy.  I hope that it was a good busy.

Hi folks, I am a newbie also, but if what I read is correct, you can also receive credit for 30 within a 30 day period. It just cuts off at the end of the month. So in the case of only having 15 in up until the 30th if you can get 15 more in before it is 30 days from your oldest one from last month I think you still get credit. I saw it I believe in Floritta's(sp?)(please forgive if I have this wrong) guide for beginners. Also when you pull up the form that you have to submit your request on or if you check how many you have posted, I think it gives you a choice, are you interested in month to month or 30 days from your oldest post. Check it out, I might be all backwards but I think I finally understood that part. Of course I might have landed on something that is older information as well, so don't bet the whole farm on me being correct.

I try to do at least 2-3 posts a day.  That way if I forget some days to post or if I'm in a hurry, I can be a little bit ahead!

Sometimes I post 2 or 3 times a day.  I always see something interesting to read and respond too.  This FC forum is so helpful for us.  We get ideas from each other.

I also try to do 2-3 posts in the beginning of the month.  Once you get in the habit, it's really pretty easy and fun.  I've learned many very helpful tips in the forum.  Now that I do 2-3 posts in the beginning of the month, I usually end up with over 60 posts a month, so I always get my $3 bonus.

I agree, I have definitely missed many opportunities to receive a Posting Bonus. Last month I finally started post and did receive my very first posting bonus. I don't know why I never thought to start posting my thoughts before, I would always read the post in the forum, but I never fully participated in the discussion threads, until last month and it is a lot easier to post than I originally thought. Two or three posts a day is all it takes and I am on my way to my monthly posting bonus. I just pick a topic that I am interested in and see if it is a discussion that I may be able to add something useful to, or if it is a topic that can provide information that is of use to me. This is definitely a fun way to be able to communicate all the info and goings on, on the FC site.

Do you set aside time to watch tv? That is when I do most of the daily offers and forum posts.

Its one of those things I do every day.  Almost like brushing my teeth.     It is a habit now.  IF I am in a hurry, sometimes I skip it and post at least twice the next day or some days I just don't see anything that I feel like responding to but for the most part it is a daily ritual.

I can agree with you samrhett, sometimes there just doesn't seem to be anything that is worth commenting on or responding to. especially for me as a relative newbie. When I first came here I was a bit afraid to make empty comments because I thought that would just look like I was trying to get enough posts in to get the reward. But after spending a little more time on here and reading some of the tips and guides others have posted, it does not have me as freaked  out. I think the biggest thing is that the forum keeps a community feeling and establishes connections in a friendly manner and helps everyone who can take a little time to search for answers or offer answers to others if they know them. Hopefully everyone will have the opportunity to continue to post usable content and at the same time qualify for and earn the additional bonus. Can't wait to see if I can be successful in that manner. Good luck to all, and thanks again for being good sources of information. Take care

i was slow starting out posting too...thought maybe it had to be something that only helped others out with fc.  now that i've realized it can be on practically any subject, its much easier.  also is nice learning more about the people that are on the site with you!
